Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kelvin Ang, AIA Philippines' Chief Executive Officer, is a home-grown talent with over 20 years of service in AIA. He has served in various Leadership and Agency Distribution roles across the AIA Group Office and the local Business Units – including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and China. In his role as Chief Agency Officer of China and General Manager of Shanghai, he played a key role in the success of AIA China’s agency transformation. Mr. Ang also led the successful AIA-ING agency integration in Malaysia in 2015-2018. After his successful stint in AIA Malaysia, he was appointed as Regional Chief Agency Officer, with AIA Hong Kong, China, and Vietnam in his portfolio, with the mission to future proof the business through digitalization and new market expansion.
Mr. Ang earned his Bachelor’s degree at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia, and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bath University in United Kingdom.
Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary
As Head of Legal & Corporate Secretary, Atty. Domingo also serves as the Corporate Secretary of BPI-Philam Life Assurance Corporation (formerly Ayala Life). She also served as corporate secretary of various Philam companies from 2008 to January 2014, to with: Philam Equitable Life Assurance Company; AIA Philippines Properties Group of Companies; Philam Asset Management Inc.; AIA Philippines Call Center Services, Inc.; the Tower Club, Inc. and Philam Foundation, Inc.
She also served as Deputy Company Secretary of AIA Group Limited from February 7, 2014 to February 6, 2015.
Chief Human Resources Officer
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Ms. Ellen Imasa is responsible for AIA Philippines’ human resources (HR) strategy, spearheading the initiatives towards its transformation into an organization of the future.
Ms. Imasa has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources in the Philippines and in several countries, encompassing multiple industries. Prior to joining AIA Philippines, Ms. Imasa was the HR Director for Commercial Division of Philip Morris (Philippines), overseeing more than 2,500 employees across its 39 Sales Offices all over the country. She also held several senior HR leadership positions with Henkel namely, Country HR Head for the Philippines including the Shared Service Center, as Regional Head of Talent Management, Asia Pacific based in Shanghai, China and as Global HR Business Partner for Finance, Strategy and Marketing in the corporate headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany concurrent to her role as Regional HR Business Partner, Consumer and General Adhesive business for Western Europe. Before joining Henkel, she was also the Head of HR in VeriFone for Philippines, India and Australia.
Ms. Imasa earned her degree in Psychology from De La Salle University and her Diploma in Industrial Relations with specialization in Human Resources Development from the University of the Philippines Diliman, School of Labor Relations.
ARLEEN MAY GUEVARA
Chief Investment Officer
Ms. Guevara is AIA Philippines' Chief Investment Officer. Aside from her present position, she also holds officerships/directorships in other AIA Philippines companies, namely BPI-Philam, PAMI, PPC, PELAC, PERF Realty Corp., Kapatiran Realty Corp., Philam Foundation, and Tower Club, Inc. She is likewise a director in several member companies of the Investment Capital Corp. of the Philippines (ICCP) Group. Prior to joining AIA Philippines, she was Deputy Director of the Treasury Department of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, where she spent 14 years in central banking with particular focus on reserves management.
Chief Operations Officer
As AIA Philippines Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Geegee Lopez is focused on reimagining the customer experience meant to sustain the high quality of service that is relevant and useful to the people the Company is committed to protect. She joined AIA Philippines from Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) where she was the Digital Banking Group Head and Operations Group Head. Prior to RCBC, she held senior roles in Manulife Financial, such as: Board of Director, Manulife Philippines and Manulife China Bank Life; Corporate Vice President & Asia Head of Digital (covering Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam); and Chief Operations Officer (Operations and Technology). She also worked for AXA Philippines as Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Geegee also held operations and digital roles in Philippine National Bank and United Coconut Planters Bank, as well as a consulting role in Arthur Andersen & Co., Manila, AA&Co, Advanced Technology Group, and James Martin and Co., Manila, currently Headstrong. She was also a Lecturer for the Bachelor in Computer Science and MBA Programs in the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
Ms. Lopez earned her Master’s Degree in Technology Management, Business and Industry and graduated Most Outstanding Student from the Technology Management Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Noel Mendoza is the company’s Chief Technology Officer responsible for IT Operations and Transformation. He has over two decades of experience running and operating global IT offshore delivery centers for both DXC/Hewlett Packard (DXC/HP) and IBM. His experience with DXC/HP’s Global Delivery hubs across Asia and the South Pacific honed his expertise in business process services, application management services, application integration and development, enterprise application, information management and analytics, mobility and cloud solutions.
Noel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gary Ogilvie is a seasoned Finance professional and qualified UK Chartered Accountant who now takes the role of Chief Financial Officer in AIA Philippines. With 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, he demonstrates strong commercial acumen and experience beyond his core finance capability.
Prior to his appointment as AIA Group’s Regional Business Development Director in 2015, he served as the Deputy CEO and CFO of AIA Vitality, rolling it out across three major AIA markets – Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong. He also held other positions in the Group, namely Head of Finance Transformation and Systems from 2007 to 2012, and AVP for Finance in 2006. With over a decade of experience in the AIA Group, Mr. Ogilvie has proven his expertise in starting up initiatives and business transformation: from visioning to execution, business development, financial governance, program management, and system implementation.
Chief Risk Officer
As AIA Philippines' Chief Risk Officer, Ms. Kitten Samaniego is responsible for the organization’s enterprise risk management. Ms. Samaniego joined AIA Philippines with an extensive international and local experience on risk and compliance. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Samaniego was the Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of ANZ Bank Taiwan Ltd. She also held various roles in the Singapore Regional Office of ANZ Banking Group including Head of Risk for Retail, Wealth and Private Bank, and Head of Retail Credit Risk, covering Asia Pacific. Prior to ANZ Bank, she spent 10 years in HSBC performing senior roles heading Consumer Credit Risk and Collection and Local Conglomerates Relationship Banking. She also worked for BNP and Union Bank of the Philippines.
Ms. Samaniego earned her degree in Industrial Management Engineering from De La Salle University.
LEONARDO TAN JR.
Chief Marketing Officer
As AIA Philippines' Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Leo Tan is responsible for the AIA Philippines Group’s marketing strategy and initiatives, brand and product positioning, marketing communications, conceptualization and delivery of the customer experience strategy, as well as the AIA Vitality customer engagement platform.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Tan was in charge of agency sales distribution for the Greater Metro Manila zone as AIA Philippines' Zone Head. He re-joined AIA Philippines after having served as Chief Marketing Officer for Generali Philippines/ BDO Life from 2013 to 2016.
Mr. Tan started his career as a management trainee in AIA Philippines, and eventually held positions with increasing responsibility, including Director of Agencies-Manila One from 2010 to 2013 where he managed agency sales for high net worth, corporate and Chinese Market segments, and Life Profit Center Head in 2008 where he developed and managed the product portfolio of the AIA Philippines Group’s Life and A&H profit centers.
With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Tan has proven his proficiency in marketing communications, agency management, product development, and sales promotions. He entered AIA Philippines after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics with cum laude honors from the University of the Philippines.

MR. JACKY CHAN
AIA Regional Chief Executive / Non-executive Director
Aged 53, is the Regional Chief Executive responsible for the Group’s businesses operating in Hong Kong and Macau, Singapore and Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, and Cambodia as well as the Group Agency Distribution.
Mr. Chan has extensive life insurance industry experience having worked at AIA for the past 29 years. Prior to becoming a Regional Chief Executive, since 2009, he had been Chief Executive Officer of AIA Hong Kong and Macau, AIA’s largest market. Previously, he held several senior positions including the Country Head of AIA China, responsible for overall business performance and results in China; Executive Vice President – Distribution & Marketing of Nan Shan Life Insurance, Taiwan; Senior Vice President & Head of Life Profit Centre of AIA - Asia (ex-Japan & Korea). Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Hong Kong. He is a fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA), a member of American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and a fellow of Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA).
Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AIA Philippines / Executive Director
Aibee Cantos is currently the Senior Advisor to the CEO of AIA Philippines, a member of the Board of Directors of AIA Philippines, and sits as Chairman of the Board of Philam Foundation.
Prior to his appointment, he was the CEO of AIA Philippines where he focused on building a strong team and operating platform to deliver sustainable business growth. In 2017, he was also the President of the Philippine Life Insurance Association (PLIA) and Chairman of the ASEAN Insurance Council.
Before he became the CEO of AIA Philippines, he held the role of CEO of BPI-Philam, the bancassurance joint venture of AIA Philippines and the Bank of the Philippine Islands, and the leading bancassurance operation in the Philippines. Prior to spearheading the growth of BPI-Philam in 2013, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Agency Officer at AIA Philippines. He had an enriching and successful career in AIA Philippines' Agency Distribution Channel, where he served for close to 30 years. He held various positions within the channel such as Profit Center Head of Accident & Health Products, Director of Manila Agencies, and Director of Provincial Agencies.
Mr. Cantos graduated with a degree in Economics, Honors Program, from Ateneo de Manila University.
Mr. Aquino is a Director of the Board of Ayala Land Inc., the real estate arm of Ayala Corporation, a pioneering conglomerate with diversified businesses in the Philippines. He has held various positions of leadership throughout his career in the Ayala group of companies. Previous to his role as director, Tony was President and CEO of Ayala Land for five years,
Prior joining Ayala Land in April 2009, Mr. Aquino was President of Manila Water Corporation for 10 years. There he transformed Ayala’s first utility venture into a reliable, world-class utility business that continues to benefit millions of residents in Metro Manila to this day.
Mr. Estrada is a director in a number of public and private organizations including Ayala Land Inc., Energy Development Corporation, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, and EEI Corporation; he also serves in various capacities in organizations including Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), Development Bank of the Philippines, Clean Air Asia, Sociedad Espanola de Beneficiencia, Maximo Kalaw and LR Kalaw/VR Kalaw Foundations. He is also a board member of RCBC Savings Bank and has served on the boards of over 40 private and public companies in Asia, the U.S. and Australia.
He was the first alumnus to be elected President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Institute of Management (“AIM”) and has served as Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of De La Salle University (DLSU).
Ms. Ho is the President and CEO of A. Magsaysay, Inc., a well-known name in the shipping industry, which has expanded its services to hospitality and tourism, transport and logistics, healthcare, oil and gas and specialized engineering and trade. The company has a network of offices strategically mapped in the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Croatia, Greece and Spain. Magsaysay conducts its overseas operations in Jakarta and Bali Indonesia, Hong Kong and Shanghai China, London and Newcastle UK, Vancouver, Canada and New York.
JOAQUIN QUINTOS IV
Mr. Quintos is currently Senior Vice President of First Philippine Holdings, a publicly listed management and investment company engaged in power generation, manufacturing, construction, and property development businesses. Prior to joining First Philippine Holdings, Jajo was President and CEO of Prople Limited. He also served as Chairman and Country General Manager of IBM Philippines Inc.
Aside from being Board member of AIA Philippines, Mr. Quintos is also board member of iPeople, Skycable, STI Education Services, Vicsal Investment, AB Capital Investment, and Energy Development Corporation in the Philippines.
