Until one day, Sinfroniano woke up to discover that the left side of his body was paralyzed.
He wanted to give up many times through all the months of physical therapy but Edna’s courage, strength and optimism pulled him through.
Then just when he was starting to get back on his feet, he was struck by yet another blow: Edna suffered a fatal stroke.
The burden of paying both their hospital bills and raising Samantha was all on Sinfroniano’s shoulders. And as if things couldn’t get any worse, Edna passed away.
Sinfroniano was emotionally and financially devastated.

We ushered in the Year of the Dragon with a festive celebration on January 20, 2012. It was headlined by a 2-hour parade led by a 350-foot giant dragon along the main roads of Binondo.
