Important Reminders

Please read the following reminders before your pay your premiums.

On Premium Payments

• Present your Billing Notice when paying through any of the accredited Philam Life payment facilities.
• Your validated payment slip serves as your proof of payment.
• You will receive SMS confirmation of your payment within two days.
• When paying through your agent, please ask for an Agent's Temporary Receipt.
• Always keep payment documents for your reference.

On Policy Lapsation

• Your policy will lapse when you fail to pay the premium and there is insufficient cash value.
• Lapsation will cause your insurance coverage to end.
• Lapsed policies must be reinstated as soon as possible to avoid interest charges and higher premiums as a result of your change in age and health condition.

On Loans and Interest Charges

• Policy loans occur when you fail to pay your premiums on time and an advance is made through your policy's cash value.
• Interest on policy loans are computed and added to your outstanding loans every policy anniversary.
• All loans and interest charges are deducted from any amount payable, including any dividends due under your policy.
