Anong plano mo? Usap tayo.

Perhaps no other question jolts the Pinoy back to reality more than this.

More than just a catchphrase in the Pinoy’s colloquial lingo, “Anong plano mo?” is a compelling thought-provoker.

It is a question that makes you pause and think.

Then stops you yet again to rethink with greater care.

Will you take up Law or Arts?
Will you save up for a house or live in a condo?
Will you ask her to marry you our not?
Will you see the world or settle down?
Will you retire early or still continue to work?
Will you stay or will you leave?

Anong plano mo?

The question pierces the conscience.
Propels you to stop dreaming or thinking.
And empowers you to start DOING.

“Anong plano mo?” is the starting point of many fulfilled dreams.

Pertaining to both plans in life (plano sa buhay) and insurance plans in the same breath, it is also the very inspiration for Philam Life’s new and exciting financial solutions.

However grand or simple your plan is, it has to start somewhere. And you have to do something about it.

So, ikaw, anong plano mo? Usap tayo.

Deorie Caraca
Honor Student
Philam Life Beneficiary

Like may Pinoy OFWs, Deorie Caraca’s dad was often away overseas, sacrificing his time with his family so he could provide them with a better life.

In January 15, 2008, after a long stint at sea, Deorie’s dad went back home. When he arrived, Deorie, her sister Ginger and her mom were overjoyed. As usual, they did all the things they usually loved to do whenever he came back, from eating out to shopping.

One thing was different though – he was always coughing. Little did they know that the cough was caused by what the doctors would later diagnose as Stage 4 Lung Cancer.

Four months after, Deorie’s dad passed away. Despite his passing, however, his dreams live on with the educational plans he bought for both Deorie and Ginger.

Learn more about Deorie’s touching story and be moved at how she faced life’s adversity like an adult.

Philam Properties Corporation

Anong plano mo? Usap tayo.

When we hear that expression, we can’t help but smile because it’s something we keep hearing our parents or our elders ask us.

Anong plano mong course?
Saan mo planong magtrabaho?
May plano ka na bang mag-asawa?

And yet, even as we smile, we know what they’re really saying. It is important to have a definite plan.

A little planning spells the world of difference between turning a “sana” into a “buti na lang” from a “sayang.”
